I don’t tend to go for house rules to be honest – certainly not to the level that I have a favourite one. I tend to find that most games are fine as they are. Back in the day there were all sorts of house rules and I remember one particular DM had a journal full of his! I think that’s one of the things that’s put me off them ;)
