#RPGaDAY2015 – Day 21: Favourite RPG Setting

A tricky one this because I really like Hellfrost but my first love has to be the Forgotten Realms (specifically the 2nd Edition version). I still remember opening the 2nd Edition Campaign Setting box set and being in awe of everything that was there: maps, hex sheets, three books, and sheets of card with religious and magical symbols on that you could cut out and show to the players. TSR certainly knew how to put together a decent box set. Even now, while playing the 5th Edition of D&D, I prefer that version of the Realms to anything that’s come since and am really happy that my DM is setting our campaign in that version :)
