#RPGaDAY2015 – Day 19: Favourite Supers RPG

I should caveat this by saying that I haven’t played a Supers game since the late ’80s so my choices are a little thin. Back then we played most of those that were published: DC Heroes; Golden Heroes; and Marvel Super Heroes being the ones that stick in the mind. Of those, Marvel Super Heroes was my favourite. Probably for no greater reason than, aside from Batman and Green Lantern, my favourite comics were by Marvel. My two favourite “heroes”, for example, are Ghost Rider (the Johnny Blaze incarnation) and the Punisher. The only downside was that the vast majority of our games devolved into slug-fests with no real roleplaying to be hand. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I’d be looking for something different today. That said, and until we play ICONS later this year, Make Mine Marvel! ;)
